Acupuncture Licensing
MEXICO: There is no general licensing or registration requirement to practice acupuncture in Mexico. That said, the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS) does have some requirements that must be met in order to operate a clinic or office.
UNITED KINGDOM: There's no statutory regulation of acupuncture in England. The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) is the leading self-regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture in the UK. Members of the BAcC belong to an accredited register, regulated and approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health & Social Care (PSA).
